I went to Kenya with my parents when I was sixteen. The country, and especially the people, made a huge impression on me. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude is really infectious. And I see the same qualities in the FoodVillage project. At the same time, the idea behind FoodVillage makes good sense. Growing food as part of an educational project: that’s two birds with one stone. The approach is practical and the ideas are based on the best intentions. So I have every confidence that we’ll be able to apply the same concept to other schools, and achieve even more. That’s something I’m happy to devote a few of my free evenings to!
