I am very grateful for the offer to serve in your board of Food Village. The project has been a great blessing to the school and the community at large. Machakos being a dry region, most of us believed that we cannot grow green vegetables throughout the year. The project has proved us wrong. Through the project, the children can eat variety of vegetables.

I have personally benefited a lot for example, I now know variety of vegetables that I had no idea existed. The project is actually a demonstration farm to our community.
